In Brief

The Cambridge Caledonian Society exists chiefly as the society for reeling, one of the three main types of Scottish country dancing, within the University of Cambridge, but we are always happy to welcome members and friends from outside the University. Our primary aims are to organise weekly practices to teach the ten or so most common reels found at traditional reeling balls up and down the country, to put on regular social events, celebrating Scottish culture where we can (such as our Burns supper), and to host a termly ball right here in Cambridge, to put everything into practice!
